Residential Supportive Treatment - Addictions

Program Description

The North Bay Recovery Home offers residential services for individuals who desire recovery from their substance abuse and addictions. Services provided are: Assessment: Provides assessment upon admission and throughout residency; Individual Counselling: Individuals receive weekly one on one counselling; Morning Meditations: Offers inspirational readings and discussions every morning; Group Therapy: Provides daily group therapy sessions; Gender Groups: Discusses issues specific to gender and recovery; Case Management and Referrals: Provides advocacy, liaison and referrals to community services; Crisis Intervention & Walk-ins: Provides individuals with information, direction and referrals; Self-Help Groups: Provides self-help groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
Prior residents may be able to return to the program for an additional 30 day stay to participate in a refresher program.

Access Information

There are no other forms of assessment beyond the MOH-approved standardized assessment tools. Medical not required. Intake interview prior to acceptance into the program, by telephone or in person.
