Overdose Related Grief Support Program

Type of Service

Peer/Self Help

Program Description

All of the support services we provide at Hospice Orillia are free. We are peer support as opposed to counselling and therapy and although we don't claim to be specialists we do specialize in grief and bereavement.

Our clients may access support through our professionally trained volunteers (with lived experience of loss) within a timely manner. There is also a weekly coffee and care group that meets on a Monday from 10am -12noon, this is for newly bereaved people who are awaiting one on one support or for a seven week closed group to start. Closed groups run year round.
