Program Description

Haldimand and Norfolk Women's Services Sexual Assault/Abuse Services program offers a continuum of accessible services to survivors of sexual assault/abuse which is woman-centred, self-directed and sensitive to the needs of survivors in a safe and therapeutic environment for women. Model of service is cognitive/behavioural and crisis support.

Access Information

Women can self-refer to this program or can be referred by other organizations, their physician, police, etc. An intake can be completed by phone and the approximate waiting period to see a therapist is two months. If a recent assault has taken place, the woman can be seen immediately. There is no cost for this service. Clients must be medication compliant if applicable. Interim support provided for clients waiting for service at this organization another organization.
