Diversion and Court Support

Program Description

This program provides court support services to people with a mental health condition who may also be in conflict with the law. The program ensures appropriate linkages with other mental health services as well as criminal justice; corrections; social services; in order to improve service coordination and support. This program also provides supportive outreach client identification; comprehensive individualized assessment and planning; systemic advocacy and coordination; and assistance with accessing and maintenance of psychiatric services. The model of service is psychosocial rehabilitation.

Access Information

Referrals can be from: self, family, friends, doctors, community agencies, and other professionals, hospitals or institutions. An Ontario Health Card is not required to access this program.
