Crisis Intervention

Program Description

Crisis Services offers immediate, individualized support to help clients resolve emotional, psychological, or situational crises in the least intrusive manner.

Services offered include:
- 24-hour telephone support
- community visits by a mobile team (Monday to Friday 0700-2300 and Saturday to Sunday 0900 - 2100)
- short-term stays in crisis beds
- linkage to other community supports
- follow-up support

The program is staffed by community mental health workers with specialized training in helping individuals respond effectively to crisis and Peer Support Specialists.

Access Information

Services are free and confidential. Individuals who require immediate medical treatment or detoxification will be referred to appropriate health care services. Our local and toll-free crisis lines provide 24-hour phone support. Services are offered on a priority basis.
