Program Description

The Recovery Inpatient Unit provides interdisciplinary, recovery-focused treatment within a shorter-term residential setting for individuals with severe mental illness. Each individual is supported to determine goals that will enable them to live successfully within the community while using appropriate available community based supports. The Recovery Inpatient Unit will assist each individual to attain skills necessary to meet their goals, and to transition back to the care and support of their referring team.

Access Information

Physician referral required.
All referrals are processed through the central intake at the Royal.
A Quebec Health Card or an Ontario Health Card is required to access this program.
