Assertive Community Treatment Teams (ACTT)

Program Description

The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team mental health professionals provide mental health service in the individual's home, in the community or in the hospital. This program promotes recovery, provides support to help improve quality of life and helps individuals to achieve their goals through individualized treatment, rehabilitation and support programs. ACT is for people with complex, long term and serious psychiatric illness involving multiple hospitalizations.

Access Information

Referrals can be made by the individuals, the family or current service provider.
Applications for all Ottawa-area ACT Teams are reviewed by a central intake team.
