Peer/Self Help

Program Description

Peer Outreach workers support people in actively working towards their personal goals in the following areas: Personal Recovery Goal Setting, Emotional Regulation, medication Practices in your Recovery, Wellness Tools/Strategies, Physical Wellness, Development of daily Routines and Assertive Communication. Peer workers are trained mental health professionals whose perspectives are enhanced by their lived experience with mental health concerns. Peer staff inspire hope and demonstrate the possibility of recovery. Application forms can be accessed on our website and sent to CMHA HKPR Peer Outreach.
