Program Description

The Lived Experience & Recovery Network (LERN) is a networking body linking, supporting and educating all consumer/survivor and family organizations in the Northeast Region. LERN provides opportunities for its membership to participate in learning activities. We provide workshops, resources and networking events that allow our members to gain valuable skills and knowledge to provide peer support and mental health promotion programs using best and promising practices with the purpose of improving the quality of life for consumers and their families in north-eastern Ontario.
Member Benefits include: access to a knowledge exchange network, interactive website and social networking tools; peer networking opportunities; access to peer support for the peer supporter; paid and/or volunteer opportunities; professional development opportunities; access to no and/or low cost organizational development assistance.

Access Information

LERN provides support to member organizations through knowledge exchange network resources, peer support for the peer supporters. Participants in LERN events come from across the region and are funded 100% for expenses whenever possible. All special needs are accommodated where possible.
