Program Description

The Crisis Team is a 24 hour, 7 days/week service available to individuals who may be experiencing a mental health crisis. The Crisis Team assesses individuals presenting to the Timmins and District Hospital's Emergency Department seeking assistance, and can assist with connecting individuals with services that may meet their needs. The Timmins & District Hospital also has a 24 hour, 7 days/week crisis line service.

Access Information

The Crisis Response Service is accessed by presenting in the emergency department of the schedule-one facility. Referrals are coordinated through triage at the emergency department. The crisis line is accessible to residents of the Cochrane District and includes a toll-free number.
