Program Description

The LAI clinic provides injections to clients diagnosed with serious mental health currently involved with a psychaitrist /family doctor and invovled with services within CMHA. Clients are booked appointments on a regular schedule for their injections which supports adherence and medication compliance. The nurses in the clinic are able to connect clients to other services on a needed basis ie dietician , case management , trustee, vocational pending clients verbalized needs and stability.
Clients within the clinic are also monitored for metabolic syndrome and clozapine as ordered by psychiatrist or primary physician.

Access Information

Referrals are accepted from all sources. The LAI clinic in Wallaceburg also attends Walpole Island CHC as needed for clients with transportation needs.
