Counselling and Treatment - Mental Health
This program includes an inter-professional team that provides flexible service tailored to the individual needs of a person. As a natural extension of the specialty inpatient service a range of expert services that include: assessments, consultations, behavioural support, shared care, and broker service. Follow up includes: ongoing support for the individual's recovery process and goal attainment supportive counseling, medication support, symptom management and support).
Inclusion Criteria:
- 18 to 65 years old
- Prominent symptoms of a depression, mood disorder, anxiety disorder or obsessive-compulsive disorder
- Willing to attending appointments, groups or coaching sessions with a clinician weekly and as required with an Nurse Practitioner or a psychiatrist, if applicable
- Has goals relating to psychoeducation, treatment, and recovery
- If actively engaged in individual therapy in the community, may be referred for one-time consultation only or shared care
Referrals are accepted from hospital, health professional, family physician or nurse practitioner. All referrals are welcome. However, referrals from outside our primary service area are accepted for consultation only.
