Program Description

Durham Mental Health Services provides education to the community and skills training to health and human service providers on a range of topics related to mental health, including: mental illness and recovery; suicide awareness and intervention (ASIST); crisis prevention and intervention; and general interest topics (relaxation, stress management, building resilience, etc.). We also liaise with family physicians and other primary health care providers in Durham Region to facilitate patient access to community mental health services.
